What to bring to your branch visit

Signing up on the website is the first step, not the last one. Once the form is in, call or walk into the nearest branch with the documents that prove who you are and that you can work.

Bring photo identification, something that shows your current address, and evidence of your right to work in the UK. Drivers should also carry their licence and digital tachograph card. If you hold a ticket — reach, counterbalance, or similar — bring the card or certificate rather than describing it from memory.

Consultants would rather see the originals on the day than chase copies later. A complete file means you can be offered the next suitable shift instead of waiting on a missing page.

If you are not sure which office to use, start with Leicester, Birmingham or Coventry. Derby, Nottingham, Northampton and Worcester see people by appointment, so phone before you travel.
